.NET Domains

When the Dot NET generic top-level extension was initially set up in 1985, together with the first domain name extensions on the World Wide Web, it was meant to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure companies. Given the fact that there were no particular rules about the usage of the TLD, though, .NET domains were secured and used for various purposes and by scores of people. This domain extension is a perfect substitution for .COM, notably if the necessary domain with the latter domain extension is not free for registration.

Registering a .NET domain with our firm is as easy as pie and takes merely a couple of minutes, given that we work with an ICANN-accredited registrar firm. You can purchase such a domain for an interval between one and ten years, or, if you already have a domain, you can move it over to our firm and we will renew it once the transfer process is finished. Transfers are available for all domain names, which are at least 60 days old, given that they are unlocked and that you have acquired an EPP transfer authorization key – security measures introduced by the dot NET Registry organization to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily alter the WHOIS information of the domain through your Control Panel, or, if you wouldn't like this information to be public at all, you can order a Whois Privacy Protection service, so nobody will be able to check your real contact information.

The dot NET top-level domain extension supports internationalized names, so you can select whether you want to target a certain country or territory using a domain name in the native language, or the global web community – using a generic English name.
