CNAME Records in Shared Website Hosting
You can easily create CNAME records provided you have a Linux shared website hosting through our company. We're going to provide you with an easy-to-use Control Panel where you could observe all DNS records for the domains and subdomains which are hosted inside the account. Creating a CNAME record requires a number of basic steps - choose the domain/subdomain, select CNAME as the type, enter the hostname you are redirecting to, then just click the Save button. The procedure is as elementary as that and the new record will be active almost immediately. This way, you'll have more control over your domain names and subdomains and over the content they open, you can create a private URL for company e-mails, and much more. If you feel unclear about how to set up a new record or you have never done such a task, we have a short video tutorial where you could see the whole process first-hand. If you want to change or delete an existing CNAME record created for a domain/subdomain hosted on our end, it will take you literally only a click to make it happen.
CNAME Records in Semi-dedicated Servers
The Hepsia hosting CP, which comes with every one of our semi-dedicated server accounts, will allow you to set up a CNAME record easily. If you want to create a private URL for your emails, to redirect a domain to a subdomain in the account or to forward a domain name to another provider and use some third-party service which they provide, it won't require more than 3 clicks to set up such a record. All DNS records for the domains and subdomains hosted within the semi-dedicated account will be listed in a separate section in the Control Panel, so when you are there, all that you will have to do will be to select the type of the record that you want to create and the hostname for which you are creating it, and then enter the actual record text. For your convenience, you can watch a short video within the CP about how to create a CNAME record or you can follow the instructions in the help article, that is available in the DNS records section.
